How is it performed?
In a normal gynecological examination setting, under ultrasound guidance, a thin catheter introduces the foam solution into the uterus. The passage of the foam through the tubes is watched live on the ultrasound screen, so the result is clear during the procedure itself and is discussed with you in the same visit. The whole procedure usually takes 5-10 minutes.
